Musical theater usually uses wireless microphones. The designer or director of the microphone decides whether to make the microphone "invisible" before wearing it, that is, how much to reduce the presence of the microphone. Various musicals have different concealment requirements for the receiver, such as the Broadway musical A Chorus Line "Singing and Dancing Online", most actors wear tights or backless clothes, not only use the microphone, but even fix the microphone cable and the microphone pocket. Good for concealment. And Rent's "rent house" microphone is obvious, and the audience can clearly see the microphone on the actor's mouth, which is also the intention of the entire design team.

Then there is the issue of the placement of the phone pockets. Actors generally wear belts. Some actresses will sew a bag behind the bra. For actors who wear wigs, a bag can be sewn on the wig cover. In this way, the waist bag and the extra microphone can be buried under the wig, and the problem of wearing a backless or some special clothing microphone is also solved. The microphone can then be placed in position. In the center of the forehead, the middle of the hairline, near the cheekbones, near the temples, and around the mouth, microphones in different positions have different production requirements. Another type of microphone is bare wire in hand and cannot be used directly. It needs to be made according to different needs. The first thing to do is to make a circle of thin wire around the mic wire that is exposed to the front of the face. The purpose is to make this part of the mic a little "flesh" so that it can be well fixed in the desired place. Although tape is usually used to strengthen the fixation again, when the tape with too much sweat cannot stick, the "feel" plays a big role, and the existence of thin iron wires can easily bend various angles.
