Because the volume of all groups can be output separately without switching to the main volume, it is necessary to be careful in the group.
For example, if 5-6 grouping is used to control the volume of bass, then the 5-6 grouping of most input channels on the Mixing console can be pressed, but if it is a microphone channel, be careful, otherwise pressing 5-6 grouping of microphone channels will generate bass feedback.
Another point is that since 5-6 marshalling has independently output signals from the corresponding output port behind, it is no longer necessary to output through the total volume of the Mixing console, that is, the switch between 5-6 marshalling and the total volume of the Mixing console cannot be pressed.
Group subdivision
The marshalling mentioned above is just a general summary. Some people may ask that these words can also be found on some Mixing console: DCA marshalling (numerically controlled amplification marshalling), VCA marshalling (pressure controlled amplification marshalling), mute marshalling, etc.
Of course, these marshalling functions are not available on all Mixing console, and the marshalling we usually refer to as sub group.
