1、 Adjusting distance method
Uing a non directional microphone that is as close to the sound source as possible to pick up sound is not only an effective way to avoid noise but also to enhance the amplification volume.
It is evident here that directional microphones (especially pointed microphones) have very little attenuation of distant sound sources, and adjusting the distance to enhance amplification and prevent whistling is not effective.
Whether the public address system is prone to howling is not directly related to the sensitivity of the microphone. It's just a high sensitivity microphone with a sharp tip, which can easily produce screams. Reducing the distance between the device and the audience can actually increase the loudness of amplification. The total gain of the system can be appropriately reduced. If complemented by a wide directional near-field speaker, it can avoid the microphone being slightly away from the whistle. Meeting room wall mounted sound system
For the direct feedback sound field of the speaker, the microphone should be as far away from the speaker as possible and the speaker should be as close to the listener as possible. The microphone should be placed on the back of the speaker's radiation direction. If the microphone may be carried around, the speaker should be placed not close to the speaker.
2、 Frequency equalization method
Also known as broadband notch method, because the frequency curve of microphone pickup and sound production equipment is not an ideal flat straight line (especially for some poor quality conference room sound equipment), as well as the acoustic resonance effect field of hall sound, the frequency response fluctuates greatly.
This is why we can use a frequency equalizer to compensate for the sound amplification curve, turning the system's frequency response into an approximate straight line, so that the gain of each frequency band is basically the same, and improving the sound transmission gain of the system.
Equalizers exceeding 21 segments should be used. The parameter equalizer should be configured in places with high requirements. When the requirements are high, a feedback controller can be used. In fact, when the amplification system experiences feedback self-excitation, its frequency is only a pure tone fixed at a certain point, so as long as a narrowband notch is used to reduce this frequency, the system noise can be controlled.
3、 Feedback controller method
Also known as narrowband notch method, in demanding situations such as some live music, audio feedback automatic control devices are commonly used. This device can automatically track the frequency of feedback points, automatically adjust the bandwidth Q value, and the sound feedback automatically eliminates sound quality and provides a lot of protection. Its principle is to control through trap noise
