Grounding and signaling are commonly referred to as references and topics. Signal ground is the reference for signals, and grounding usually refers to the connection to the ground, but in sound reinforcement systems, it is not related to the ground. It is a reference set in the system, and grounding is essential. It may seem simple, but in reality it is quite complex. According to its different functions, it can be divided into functional grounding and protective grounding. Functional grounding includes the following four types.
(1) Working grounding, also known as system grounding, is to ensure the normal operation of the system, prevent system oscillation, and ensure the reliability of equipment in the system. It is usually necessary to install grounding at the appropriate location for the operation of multi-functional audio equipment units. As a normal 220V power supply, the ground wire is the neutral point of the transformer.
(2) To obtain a stable reference potential, a logic grounding, also known as a DC neutral point, is set.
(3) Shielded grounding is installed to prevent the impact of electromagnetic induction on the system. It is a complex grounding system for all grounding systems, as it can prevent other people from interfering with each other at the same time. The higher the interference frequency, the denser the metal mesh used for shielding, otherwise the effect cannot be achieved.
