How to improve the sound effect of conference room audio equipment

Aug 19,2022

In a multimedia conference room or home theater, in addition to the influence of the indoor acoustic environment on the sound field, the location of the audio equipment in the conference room is particularly important. Starting from the premise of a good indoor acoustic environment, the more accurate the sound image positioning is, the more realistic the sound is, and the better the sound effect of the scene with sound image fusion will be. Next, the conference room audio equipment company will discuss the location of the three front speakers (left, center, right).

1. The position of the middle speaker

Conference Room Audio Solutions Front center speakers are usually placed as close to the center of the image screen as possible. The center speaker has a big impact on the sound quality of a language. To ensure dialogue is placed exactly in the center of the screen and sound is clear, separate speakers designed for the center channel should be used. The center speaker is mostly a horizontal box, and it should be placed on the top of the TV as much as possible (if a projection screen is used, it should be placed behind the screen), that is, as close to the screen as possible. 2. The position of the left and right channel main speakers

The location of the audio equipment in these two conference rooms has some influence on the location of the center channel speakers. To ensure smooth left-to-right movement of sound and image, place them on either side of the center channel speaker, keeping all three speakers at the same distance from the audience in front of you. from the screen. Generally speaking, the position where the speakers are placed should move a certain distance from the left and right speakers, until the sound fields of the two can be fully combined to form a unified sound image position. In addition, the vertical height of the left and right channel speakers should be 0.3m lower than the center speaker axis. Otherwise, the height of the left, middle, and right speakers is too high, and the front sound image level is too high. When changing, it will give people a feeling of sound and picture jumping. Generally speaking, floorstanding speakers can meet the above requirements. If the bookshelf speakers are used as left and right speakers, they should be fastened to the speaker brackets so that their height meets the above requirements.

The distance from the left and right channel speakers to the screen is related to the size of the screen. If you are using a large or medium-screen color TV in a small room, place the left and right channel speakers close to one side of the screen. If the screen is small, you can move them further away from the screen for a wider stereo field. To sum up, the sound directivity of the left, center, and right channel speakers is more important than the diffusion, that is, the radiation angle range of these three channels should be based on the listening position. This reduces the impact of sound reflected from floors, walls and ceilings, and properly ensures sound and image localization clarity.
