How to eliminate audio current sound

There are many situations that can cause the sound to have noise, such as interference to the speaker, poor contact of the interface or connecting line, poor quality of the sound itself, and so on.

Generally speaking, most speakers are active speakers, and there must be amplifiers inside them, so noise is inevitable. The noise of active speakers can be roughly divided into electromagnetic interference, mechanical noise and thermal noise according to the source.

Sound box problems cause:

1、 Electromagnetic interference

Electromagnetic interference can be divided into power transformer interference and stray electromagnetic wave interference.

1. Power transformer interference

Due to the magnetic leakage of the power supply of the multimedia speaker, the effect of installing a shielding cover for the transformer is very obvious when conditions permit, which can block the magnetic leakage to the greatest extent. The shielding cover can only be made of iron type materials. We should try our best to choose products with large brands and solid materials. In addition, the use of external transformers is also a good solution.

2. Stray electromagnetic interference

Quite often, speaker wires, frequency dividers, wireless devices or computer hosts will become interference sources. Keep the main speaker away from the computer host as far as possible under allowable conditions, and reduce the surrounding wireless devices.

2、 Mechanical noise

Mechanical noise is unique to active speakers. During the operation of the power transformer, the vibration of the iron core caused by the alternating magnetic field will produce mechanical noise, which is very similar to the hum of the fluorescent lamp ballast. Choosing good quality products is still the best way to prevent such noise. In addition, we can add a rubber damping layer between the transformer and the fixed plate.

3、 Thermal noise

If the potentiometer is used for a long time, there will be poor contact between the metal brush and the diaphragm due to problems such as dust accumulation and wear, and noise will be generated when rotating. If the screws of the speaker are not tightened and the inversion tube is not properly handled, mechanical noise will also be generated when playing large dynamic music.

This kind of thermal noise can be treated by replacing low-noise components or reducing the working load of components. In addition, reducing the working temperature is also one of the effective methods.

In addition, some computer speakers will make noise when the volume is too high. This is because the output power of the power amplifier may be small and cannot avoid the large dynamic peak signal at the moment of music, or because there are many situations that may cause the speaker to have noise, such as interference to the speaker, poor contact of the interface or connecting line, poor quality of the speaker itself, and so on.
