1. Paper cone diaphragm. Paper cone diaphragm appeared earlier, which is also a common material of horn unit diaphragm. At present, the technical level is quite mature. The sound characteristics of the paper pot diaphragm are smooth and natural, and there are few exciting parts with distinctive personality, meeting the taste of most people. The paper pot has the advantages of light weight and high energy conversion efficiency; The disadvantage is that the paper basin is sensitive to temperature and humidity, and is obviously affected by the environment. It may produce irreversible deformation after withstanding several extreme environmental changes. 2. Plastic diaphragm, also known as PP voice cone, is generally made of polypropylene material, which is also a common diaphragm material. It has excellent damping characteristics and a soft and natural hearing. The advantage is that it is more moisture-proof and waterproof than the paper basin. The disadvantage is that the rigidity is relatively general, and the high frequency performance is prone to distortion.




3. Metal diaphragm. The metal diaphragm is generally made of aluminum or its alloy, which has the advantages of bright sound, outstanding dynamic and analytical force, and good control of distortion. The disadvantage is that the damping property of the metal diaphragm is relatively weak, which shows that high frequency is easy to produce "metal sound" (i.e. basin splitting phenomenon generated at the high frequency end), but it can be improved by applying special paint on the surface of the diaphragm.




4. Synthetic fiber diaphragm. The material of synthetic fiber diaphragm is transplanted from aviation and military materials, which has the advantages of light weight, high strength, and the characteristics of diaphragm made of other materials. However, the manufacturing cost is high, which is generally seen in advanced audio.
