A common issue faced by audio designers is the conflict between audio systems and interior design. Unfortunately, audio systems rarely have such conflicts, and good design often has to compromise because the placement will damage the "clean lines" required by the Interior designer. Although this usually helps us verify the importance of a part of the project to our customers, it also helps motivate manufacturers to help the audio and video industry break away from the impression of a "black box on the wall".
The progress in materials science has also greatly improved this. Large and heavy ferrite magnets have been replaced by smaller and lighter rare earth metals, such as neodymium, which can provide more energy in smaller devices.
This makes the design of the product increasingly compact, creating beautiful and fashionable speakers. These speakers will no longer conflict with interior design and still have sufficient impact to provide the sound pressure level and clarity required for acoustic design.
